Injector? They are designed so the fuel cools the injector which means they are susceptible to heat. My guess, the injector starts failing at operating temps. I know you have done a lot of troubleshooting and if you have truly determined that there is a lack of spark, then the injector could not be the cause, but you cannot rewire the PTU. Firing order issues and all. Dont want #1 firing when its on an exhaust stroke, burn a valve. Anyway, if it were me, I think I would swap a PTU (cause its easy) then the injector. J
